Plot[]
Samantha reads a Halloween story to Tabatha to get her to sleep. The book is illustrated with a magical goblin, gremlin and Jack O'Lantern, which, when her mother leaves the room, Tabatha zaps out of the book into real life. On Halloween night, Samantha takes Tabatha out trick or treating while Darrin stays at home. Tabatha's three new friends, whom Samantha believes are just three mortal children, join them. After they cause some mischief in the neighborhood with their magic, Samantha finds out that the three are supernatural creatures from the book. She quickly zaps them home and asks Tabatha to put them back in the book. Complications ensue when one of the three turns Mrs. Kravitz's nephew, who is also dressed as a Jack O'Lantern, into a billygoat, and then when Gladys brings home the fictional Jack O'Lantern instead of her nephew. Samantha has a lot of work to get everything back to normal in front of Larry and Louise Tate, who have been invited to a friendly Halloween dinner.
