Adam Stephens is the adult mortal son of Samantha and Darrin Stephens. Tabitha Stephens is his younger sister.

Biography[]

Adam is an Associate Producer at KXLA, a television station in Los Angeles, California. Tabitha also works at the station, a position he helped her acquire.

Behind the Scenes[]

Adam is mortal in this series. However, in "Adam, Warlock or Washout?" (1972), he was revealed to be a warlock. This change was probably intentional to repeat the character dynamics of "Darrin/Samantha/Endora" with "Adam/Tabitha/Aunt Minerva". In the original "Tabatha Pilot" (1976), Adam is a full fledged warlock. See Adam Stephens (adult warlock).

Adam, as well as Tabitha, were rapidly aged for this series. The character was three years old at the conclusion of Bewitched in 1972, but when Tabitha premiered in 1977, he was in his twenties.

Also, Tabitha is younger than Adam, his "kid sister". In Bewitched she was born in 1966 ("And Then There Were Three") and he in 1969 ("...And Something Makes Four").
