Amelia was a maid whom Samantha hired at Phyllis Stephens' urging. She was sweet, kind and hard-working, plus an excellent cook.
Samantha did her best to discourage her from staying, but Amelia kept saying she always enjoyed rewarding challenges. After exhausting every mortal attempt to encourage her to quit, Samantha finally resorted to a little magic persuasion to get Amelia to leave and go to work for another employer.
