Bernard Slade was a story editor and writer on Bewitched. He wrote seventeen episodes for the series (1964-1968), including the "Samantha Meets the Folks" repeat, and was the head writer for the second season.
Slade was married to Canadian actress Jill Foster (who played Darrin's secretary Betty) for sixty-four years until her death in 2017.
