Cousin Serena Strikes Again (Part 1) is the fifteenth episode of the fifth season and the 155th episode of the Bewitched series. The episode was completed by October 10, 1968.

Plot

Serena pops in to the Stephenses' house in the middle of the night to show off her new motorcycle which she rides in the living room. Darrin is furious and explains to the intruder they have an important business dinner in the evening, that she is not invited and that they want to sleep. Samantha tries to spare her cousin's pride by pointing out that she is always welcome, but not this time. Serena leaves, very upset, and suggests that she might well invite herself, but in a way that Darrin will not like. At the party, she appears in front of Samantha, but agrees to her cousin's request to remain invisible to mortals. The guest of the evening is a vineyard heiress, the attractive but snobbish Miss Clio Vanita who wastes no time in making scandalous advances to Darrin. When the Italian woman goes too far, Serena, to protect Samantha's marriage, turns Clio into a monkey. Although Samantha did not appreciate Clio's behavior, she does not condone what Serena did. When Darrin finds out about the disaster, he banishes Serena from their home forever, not realizing that she is the only one who can turn Miss Clio Vanita back to her human form.
