Gilbert Green played Judge Virgil Winner in the first season episode, "There's No Witch Like an Old Witch" (1965).

Biography[]

Gilbert Stanley Green was born in Brooklyn to Benjamin and Rose Green. He was married to Laura A. Green (née Witkow).[2][3]

Green made guest appearances on several television series, including The Untouchables, Gunsmoke, Bonanza, Perry Mason, Bewitched, My Favorite Martian, the pilot episode of Starsky and Hutch, Barney Miller, McCloud, The Rockford Files, Fantasy Island, Charlie's Angels, and Quincy. He played an Ekosian major in the Star Trek: The Original Series second season episode, "Patterns of Force" (which also starred James Doohan and Peter Canon).

He made his film debut in the 1961 thriller Homicidal. He followed this with roles in such films as By Love Possessed (1961), Pressure Point (1962), Dark Intruder (1965) (with Peter Brocco), Halls of Anger (1970), The Man (1972), Executive Action (1973) and, most notably, Norma Rae (1979).[4]
