Herbie Faye played two characters in the second season of Bewitched (1966).

Biography[]

Herbie Faye was a short, bald, funny-looking comic character actor who was cast at the age of fifty-six in his first major acting role as Corporal Sam Fender in twenty-four episodes of The Phil Silvers Show (1955) [Sergeant Bilko]. Four years after the cancellation of that series, he played Waluska with the top comedian again on The New Phil Silvers Show (1963).

He was also known for Thoroughly Modern Millie (1967) and The Harder They Fall (1956). He made his last appearance as an unnamed witness in "Melvin and Howard", a 1980 movie starring Jason Robards.

Faye was married to Mary Lou. He died in Las Vegas, Nevada at the age of eighty-one.
