He may perhaps be best remembered for providing the voice of the character Yukon Cornelius in the animated holiday television program "Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer" (1964). He was a longtime disc jockey in his native Toronto, before moving on to television and films. Among his many television credits include "Hogan's Heroes", "The Man From U.N.C.L.E.", "Get Smart", "Bewitched", "Green Acres" and "Hill Street Blues". His film roles include "Caprice" (1967), "In the Heat of the Night" (1967) and "The Sting" (1973).[2]

A citizen of both the United States and Canada, Mr. Mann was a proud veteran of World War Two. His four years of service with the Royal Canadian Air Force included participating in the Battle of Normandy and the liberation of the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp.

He was married to his wife, Gloria, for sixty-seven years.[3]
