Plot[]

Endora appears on a camel in the living room and receives an humorless attitude from her son-in-law. In response, she casts a spell on Darrin to make him into an obnoxious comedian. At McMann & Tate, Darrin and Larry have a disastrous meeting with Harold Jameson, the very serious and dour president of Mount Rocky Mutual Insurance, when Darrin makes inappropriate jokes that infuriate everyone. Darrin goes back home. Samantha learns what is going on and asks her mother to remove the spell. However, far from thanking his mother-in-law, Darrin continues to be unpleasant with her. So she casts a second spell on him. Now, Darrin bursts out laughing every time he hears sad news. Gladys Kravitz is the first victim when she announces to her neighbor, who laughs in her face, that her sister must undergo a serious operation. Later, Gladys rings the doorbell to ask Sam how Darrin is doing, but when she mentions a big car accident, she hears him laughing behind the door. When she leaves, Mrs. Kravitz bumps into Larry and Mr. Jameson and his wife Martha upon their arrival. The Stephenses find a way to convince Mr. Jameson that a little humor is the best way to improve his advertising campaign.
