Maid to Order is the seventeenth episode of the second season, and the fifty-third episode of the Bewitched series. The episode was completed by September 2, 1965.
Plot[]
Darrin wants Samantha to hire a maid until their baby is born. They hire Naomi, who is a klutz. Louise Tate borrows her to prepare dinner for an important business event and Samantha must lend a magical hand to help Naomi come off well.

- The Tates refer to their absent maid as "Esmeralda". This will become the name of the witch-maid Alice Ghostley will play in Season Six.
- The episode title alludes to the term "made to order".
Casting[]
- Alice Ghostley portrays Naomi. This is her first appearance on Bewitched, but like Paul Lynde and Bernard Fox, she debuts with a different character before playing the role for which she is better known - Esmeralda.
- Agnes Moorehead did not appear and received credit only.
