Plot[]

When Tabitha loses one of her baby teeth, she argues with Gladys Kravitz's nephew, Sidney, who denies the existence of the tooth fairy. That night, Mary the Good Fairy, Samantha's old friend, visits the Stephenses' house to exchange Tabitha's tooth under her pillow for a coin. Shivering from the cold in the middle of the night during her tour to visit the children, Mary enjoys a little rest in a friendly witch's house and, above all, some brandy offered by Darrin to warm her up. Mary gets drunk and confesses her resentment of collecting teeth for centuries and refuses to go back out. Feeling guilty, Sam agrees to switch places with her that night, even though becoming the fairy cancels out her powers. The next morning, the nosy Mrs. Kravitz comes with her nephew to investigate what he claims to have seen - Mrs. Stephens flying over the rooftops the night before. While Darrin is distracted by the Kravitzes, Mary escapes. The Stephenses, more than worried, start looking for the fairy throughout the neighborhood.

Trivia[]

General[]

  • The character of Sidney, Gladys Kravitz's annoying nephew, is played by child actor Ricky Powell instead of Richard Powell (who played Irving Bates, Jr. in Season Six's "Just a Kid Again") as some data incorrectly lists it. Richard Powell played a 10-year-old boy in the earlier episode of Season Six while Ricky Powell plays a 6-year-old boy in this Season Seven episode.
