Out of Sync, Out of Mind is the ninth episode of the fourth season and the 116th episode of the Bewitched series. The episode was completed by August 24, 1967.
Plot[]
Mrs. Stephens arrives unexpectedly at her son Darrin's house and claims that she has left Mr. Stephens for good because he continually accuses her of an overactive imagination. In the meantime, Aunt Clara also comes to visit. To try to amuse and relax everyone, Darrin wants to show an amateur home movie with Samantha and Tabatha. A technical problem, however, causes the picture and sound to be out of sync. Aunt Clara solves the problem with an incantation, but which also ensures that Samantha's own voice is not synchronized with her lips. Calling Dr. Bombay, the quack scientist fixes the timing problem, but leaves Sam with green streaks on her face. Phyllis, who notices all these strange events, ends up believing that her husband was right about her imagination and agrees with relief to return home with him.
