Samantha's Old Man is the tenth episode of the seventh season and the 210th episode of the Bewitched series. The episode was completed by August 27, 1970.
Plot[]
Endora casts a spell on Darrin, turning him into an old man, after he pretentiously brags about his successes at golf. Darrin, shocked, cannot stop looking at himself in the mirror to observe this senior citizen he has become.
To change his mood, Samantha takes him to a drive-in, where they meet Larry and Louise Tate. Sam has the idea of presenting the old man as Grover Stephens, Darrin's grandfather, but fails to prevent Darrin from falling prey to one of Louise's match making plots, who sets up a romance between Grover and her Aunt Millicent.
However, Darrin needs to pull off a youth-based campaign with his new client, Jennings Booker. Sam convinces him to go to the meeting in his elderly form, and he manages to impress both Larry and Booker with his salesmanship.
Later, to end the embarrassing romantic affair with Aunt Millicent, Samantha turns herself into elderly Carolyn, posing as Grover's wife. The Tates take their outraged Aunt Millicent home. In the meantime, Endora pops in and, upset to see Samantha so old and determined to stay that way as long as Darrin is as old, removes her spell.
