Samantha's Wedding Present is the first episode of the fifth season and the 141st episode of the Bewitched series. The episode was completed by August 2, 1968.
Plot[]
Darrin and Endora have a fight about the wedding present that Endora buys for Samantha. Endora puts a spell on him that gradually turns him into a small man. The next day Abner and Gladys Kravitz visit and their dog goes after Darrin. Darrin runs out to the driveway and hides in an old jar. The garbage men come and take the jar and other trash to the dump. A drunken man, Frank O'Hara, thinks Darrin is a leprechaun and in exchange for taking Darrin back home, he has to get three wishes. Samantha grants him three wishes - new spectacles, a new suit and a pony. Darrin apologizes to Endora and she restores him to normal.
