Samantha Twitches for UNICEF is the twenty-sixth episode of the fifth season and the 166th episode of the Bewitched series. The episode was completed by February 19, 1969.
Plot[]
Samantha is elected by a women's committee to contact E. J. Haskell a wealthy builder and their first benefactor who reneged on his $10,000 donation to UNICEF. Samantha's meeting with Haskell ends in failure and the businessman goes so far as to insult Sam by ordering her never to show her face in front of him again. Samantha, not very offended by this attack, intends to oppose this stubborn man's wish by haunting him, so she makes her face appear wherever he goes. To encourage this little progress, Endora suggests that Samantha seek out the roots of this man's attitude by talking to Haskell's fiancée, Lila Layton, a woman who seems to be a gold-digger and primarily responsible for Haskell's disavowal. With a little magic, Sam gets Haskell to honor his promise to make his donation.
