Plot[]
Benjamin Franklin stands his trial for stealing a fire engine. The district attorney prosecutes as he believes that "Benjamin Franklin" is an odious publicity stunt developed by Darrin for his advertising campaign. Convinced that hiring a lawyer is not the right choice, Samantha, Darrin and Ben Franklin must find the appropriate defense strategy. However, in court, the eloquence and courtesy of his speech prove to be the best allies of Franklin, who, speaking in his own words, contributes greatly to defending his cause, although he is also supported by some witchcraft from Samantha. After his acquittal, Benjamin Franklin is sent back to his own time by Aunt Clara.
