Super Arthur is the twentieth episode of the sixth season and the 190th episode of the Bewitched series. The episode was completed by December 4, 1969.
Plot[]
Uncle Arthur appears in mirrors of the Stephenses' house over the weekend and then accidentally breaks them popping out. Calling Dr. Bombay for help, the quack scientist diagnoses an allergy to horse feathers and tries an experimental cure that causes side effects: whatever Uncle Arthur thinks - either it magically appears or Arthur himself becomes one. To keep Uncle Arthur's mind off himself, Samantha teaches him how to drive a car, but the lesson turns disastrous and, when Arthur insists that he prefers to fly, he turns himself into Superman. The whole neighborhood, the police and Larry are amazed and intrigued to see a man flying over the houses. Darrin explains that it is for an advertising campaign and Sam lies that Arthur is using a jet pack. After the flight session, Dr. Bombay returns and gives a proper cure to Arthur.
