The Corsican Cousins is the eleventh episode of the seventh season of Bewitched and the 211th episode of the Bewitched series. The episode was completed by September 3, 1970.
Plot[]
At the McMann & Tate offices, the Bigelow Industries account requires the Stephenses to join its country club. Samantha and Darrin both admit that they are not country club types, but agree to try to get admitted to the club. Endora, who rebels against this latest bourgeois mortal convention, wishes that Samantha was more carefree, like her cousin Serena. She casts a secret spell on Samantha, making her experience Serena's emotional and physical sensations to remind her daughter of the witchy life she gave up when she married Darrin. However, Larry stops by to tell them that ladies from the country club admissions committee are coming over. What Endora did not consider is that Serena goes through some extreme highs and lows in her life and not just carefree and happy times. Then Samantha, in front of the ladies, has strange reactions, laughing when someone complains of a headache or jumping in the middle of a conversation. Her behavior ruins all chances of getting into the country club, but also ruins Darrin's chances of getting a lucrative account.
