Tom Waldman was a writer on Bewitched. He wrote the first season episode It's Magic (1965) with his brother Frank Waldman.

Biography[]

Thomas Alan Waldman was born on July 8, 1922, in Chicago, Illinois. He had a busy career writing for both television and films. Following military service during World War II, he wrote television material for such artists as Milton Berle, Jackie Gleason and Liberace. He typically collaborated with his brother, Frank. During the 1960s, he worked on several films including High Time (1960) and Dirty Dingus Magee (1968). Television shows he worked on include Bewitched, I Dream of Jeannie, variety shows, and the annual Academy Award presentations.

Waldman was married to actress Fay McKenzie. Their son is actor Tom Waldman, Jr.

He died on July 23, 1985, in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. He was 63.
